At Satvik, accessible from Google Play Store, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Satvik and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

The Satvik application collects the following types of information to provide and improve our services:

• User Profile Data: If you set up a profile within the application, we collect your Name and Phone Number. This profile data is stored locally on your device or in our secure database to personalize your experience.
• Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, such as the device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers to deliver live wallpapers, sound files, and compatibility configurations.
• Media Storage Permission: To save wallpapers and ringtones to your device, our app requests permission to access your device's external storage. We only use this permission to read or write the media files you choose to download or set.
• Subscription & Billing Information: All payments are processed securely through Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit/debit card or bank account details — these are handled entirely by Google Play Billing.
• Subscription Status: To manage your plan, we store your purchase token, subscription expiry date, and trial/paid status in Firebase. This is used solely to verify and maintain your active subscription.
• Astrological Birth Details: If you choose to provide your birth details (such as date, time, and place of birth) for personalized astrological or spiritual features, this information is stored only with your consent and used to deliver those features.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information in the following ways:

• To provide, operate, and maintain the wallpaper, ringtone, and devotional content services.
• To customize and personalize your user experience (e.g. favorites list, localized language settings, and theme choices).
• To communicate with you, respond to support requests, and provide app updates.
• To analyze and monitor application usage and stability (via crash logs) to optimize app performance.
• To verify your subscription and unlock premium features within the app once your plan is confirmed active.
• To manage subscription renewals and cancellations, which are handled directly through your Google Play Store account (under Subscriptions).

3. Third-Party Services

Our app may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you. Below are the third-party providers we use:

• Google Play Services: Used for app distribution, verification, and core system utilities.
• Google Play Billing: Used to process subscription payments and manage in-app purchases securely.
• Firebase Authentication: Used to securely authenticate users and link their account to subscription and profile data.
• Firebase Services (FCM/Database): Used for delivering push notifications, handling real-time database content, and hosting.
• Firebase Analytics: Used to understand app usage and improve our content and features.
• Firebase Cloud Functions: Used to verify purchases and keep subscription status accurate on our servers.

4. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us your information, and we use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

6. Subscriptions

Satvik offers an optional premium subscription to unlock exclusive content and features:

• New users may start with a 3-day free trial, after which the subscription is ₹199/month.
• All subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime through your Google Play Store account under Subscriptions.
• Subscription status (trial, paid, or expired) is verified via Google Play Billing and Firebase Cloud Functions, and stored as described in Section 1.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
